Coolant Feeding Drills

Available in:
High Speed Steel, Carbide Tipped, Solid Carbide
Description
Coolant Feeding Drills are custom built to suit specific applications and offer many features not found in a standard 'off-the-shelf' mass produced tool. Many. There are several operations when a custom built two-flute C/F drill will be more cost effective. To achieve optimum results, the tools require coolant to be pumped under very high pressure thru the internal holes to the drill point.
Applications
Custom built two-flute C/F Drills are more practical when conditions exist that require features not available on standard drills. For example: longer lengths, intermediate diameters, special shank features, special materials or coatings. Perhaps among the most outstanding optional features to be considered are: various drill spiral angles are now available such as, straight, slow, or fast. Right or left hand cutting on straight fluted tools. Special point styles and grind features can be incorporated. In addition, controlled web thickness and tapers can be specified in order to avoid unnecessary and irregular web thinning when it comes time to re-sharpen tools. Extensive raw material stocks are available to build the tool best suited to your application. When drill bushings are used, subject to material being cut, 'Double or Triple Margins' can be supplied at no extra cost. The additional margins can afford maximum support and guidance to permit more accurate size and hole location control.
